Shipping policy

At Hues & Reflections, every print is made to order with care. We aim to dispatch quickly, pack securely and ensure your artwork arrives in perfect condition.


1. Order Processing Time

All prints are made to order, not pre-made.

  • Standard processing time: 1–3 working days from the date of purchase.
    (During busy periods such as Christmas, please allow up to 5 working days.)
  • Personalised prints may take slightly longer depending on design approval and complexity.
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation when your order has been printed and dispatched.

2. Delivery Times (UK)

We ship from the United Kingdom using trusted delivery partners such as Royal Mail and Evri (Hermes).
Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed, but we always do our best to deliver promptly.


3. International Shipping

We currently offer delivery to selected international destinations.
At present, we do not ship to the United States.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees, which are payable by the customer. We are unable to mark parcels as “gift” or undervalue items for customs purposes.

4. Packaging

  • Smaller prints (A5–A3) are shipped in flat, rigid envelopes with protective boards.
  • Larger prints (A3 and above) are shipped rolled in sturdy postal tubes.
  • Every print is handled carefully to ensure it reaches you in gallery-ready condition.

We avoid plastic where possible and use recyclable or compostable packaging materials.


5. Tracking & Confirmation

Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details (where available).
If your tracking shows “delivered” but you haven’t received the item, please check with neighbours or your local delivery office before contacting us.


6. Delayed or Missing Orders

Most parcels arrive on time, but if your order hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe:

  • UK: please allow up to 7 working days from dispatch before contacting us.
  • International: allow up to 25 working days due to customs delays.

If your parcel still hasn’t arrived, email huesandreflections@gmail.com with your order number and we’ll investigate with the courier.

We cannot accept liability for delays caused by postal strikes, weather disruptions, or circumstances beyond our control, but we’ll always help you track your parcel.


7. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your print arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us within 48 hours of delivery at huesandreflections@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the item, packaging and shipping label

We’ll arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
Please keep the packaging until the issue is resolved.


8. Wrong or Incomplete Address

Please double-check your shipping details before checkout.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address or non-collection, we can:

  • Re-ship (you cover new postage costs), or
  • Refund the item price (minus original shipping and return fees).
    Personalised items are excluded from refunds where resale isn’t possible.

9. Split Shipments

If you order multiple prints, they may be dispatched separately (for example, if sizes or materials differ). You’ll receive separate tracking emails for each parcel if applicable.


10. Lost Parcels

If a parcel is confirmed lost after courier investigation, we’ll replace or refund it promptly.
We may request a signed declaration before issuing a replacement or refund.
