1) Who we are
This website is operated by Hues & Reflections (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our store is powered by Shopify, who provide the ecommerce platform.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2) Using our site
You must be the age of majority in your jurisdiction to place an order. You may not use the site or our products for any unlawful purpose. We may refuse service, suspend, or cancel orders at our reasonable discretion (for example, suspected fraud or reseller activity).
3) Products, colours & sizing (made to order)
All prints are made to order (not pre-made). We aim to display colours and textures accurately, but variations can occur between screens and printed media. Minor production tolerances (for example, ±3 mm on trim/mounting) are normal and not considered defects.
If your order includes personalised content (for example, names, dates, custom text, photos), please check spellings and details carefully. Where proofs are provided, your approval confirms the final content.
4) Prices, VAT & availability
Prices are shown in GBP and include UK VAT where applicable. We may change prices at any time. If we discover a pricing or availability error after you order, we’ll contact you to confirm, cancel, or refund as appropriate.
5) Ordering & payment
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept when we send an order confirmation. Title to goods passes to you when full payment is received; risk passes on delivery. We accept payment methods shown at checkout (processed securely by Shopify Payments/Stripe/PayPal).
6) Shipping, delivery & customs
We dispatch after production (typically 1–3 working days for most prints). Delivery estimates at checkout are estimates, not guarantees.
- UK: standard delivery options shown at checkout (often free).
- International: available to selected countries (we currently do not ship to the US). You’re responsible for any import duties, taxes, or clearance fees.
If a parcel is refused or uncollected and returned to us, we’ll refund the product price (less outbound shipping and any return charges) unless the item is personalised, in which case we may deduct reasonable costs where resale isn’t possible.
7) Right to cancel (UK consumers)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK consumers have 14 days from delivery to cancel non-personalised orders for a refund.
Exclusions: Personalised or custom-made goods are exempt from the 14-day cancel right unless faulty.
How to cancel: Email huesandreflections@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery, quoting your order number. Return items within 14 days of notifying us, unused and in original packaging. You’re responsible for return postage (use a tracked service). We’ll refund within 14 days of receiving the return (or proof of posting), to your original payment method.
8) Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, email huesandreflections@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, photos of the product, packaging and shipping label. We will replace or refund as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For personalised items, we’ll remake or refund where we or our courier are at fault.
9) Returns process (summary)
- Contact us first (with photos for damage/fault).
- We’ll confirm next steps (replacement, refund, or return label where applicable).
- For change-of-mind returns (non-personalised), you cover return postage; for faulty/incorrect, we cover reasonable return costs or provide a label.
- Refunds are to the original payment method only.

10) Personalisation & user content
You confirm you have the rights to use any content you supply (for example, names, photos) and that it doesn’t infringe third-party rights or contain unlawful material. By submitting reviews, images or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for the purposes of fulfilling your order, customer service and (where you explicitly consent) marketing.
11) Promotions, gift cards & discount codes
Unless stated otherwise:
- One code per order; not combinable with other offers.
- Codes cannot be applied to past purchases.
- We may withdraw or amend promotions at any time.
- Gift cards are non-refundable (except as required by law) and valid for the period stated at purchase.
12) Intellectual property
All designs, product images, text and branding on this site are owned by or licensed to Hues & Reflections and are protected by IP laws. You must not reproduce or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.
13) Prohibited behaviour
You must not:
- Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code.
- Scrape, spider, or data-mine the site without consent.
- Infringe IP rights, or post unlawful, defamatory, or obscene content.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
14) Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law.
Subject to the above, we’re not liable for:
- indirect or consequential losses;
- loss of profits, revenue, or data;
- delays outside our reasonable control;
- minor variations in colour/size as described in section 3.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product(s) concerned.
15) Events outside our control (force majeure)
We’re not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control (for example, strikes, carrier delays, extreme weather, supply issues, utility outages). We’ll keep you informed and fulfil as soon as reasonably possible.
16) Third-party links & tools
We may provide links to third-party websites or offer optional tools. Use of these is at your discretion and risk. We don’t control or endorse third-party sites and aren’t responsible for their content or policies.
17) Privacy & cookies
Your personal data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, available on our site. Please review these to understand how we collect and use your information.
18) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is the one shown on this page with the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
19) Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you have a concern, please contact us first, we’ll do our best to resolve it quickly and fairly.
